16 High Court judges transferred in recent Center notification

Today, the Central Government has officially announced the transfer of 16 High Court Judges into various different High Courts of India. The Government issued a notification regarding the transfer of these judges, in accordance with the recommendations put forth by the Supreme Court collegium. The list of judges being transferred is as follows:

  1. Justice S.P. Kesarwani from Allahabad HC to Calcutta High Court

  2. Justice Raj Mohan Singh From Punjab and Haryana HC to Madhya Pradesh High Court

  3. Justice Narendar G from Karnataka High Court To Andhra Pradesh High Court

  4. Justice Sudhir Singh from Patna High Court to Punjab and Haryana High Court

  5. Justice MV Muralidaran from Manipur High Court To Calcutta High Court

  6. Justice Madhuresh Prasad from Patna High Court To Calcutta High Court

  7. Justice Arvind Singh Sangwan from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Allahabad High Court

  8. Justice Avneesh Jhingan from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Rajasthan High Court

  9. Justice Arun Monga from Punjab and Haryana High Court to Rajasthan High Court

  10. Justice Rajendra Kumar-IV from Allahabad High Court to Madhya Pradesh High Court

  11. Justice Nani Tagia from Gauhati High Court to Patna High Court

  12. Justice C Manavendranath Roy from Andhra Pradesh High Court to High Court of Gujarat

  13. Justice Munnuri Laxman from Telangana High Court to Rajasthan High Court

  14. Justice G Anupama Chakravarthy from Telangana High Court to Patna High Court

  15. Justice Lapita Banerji (Additional Judge) from Calcutta High Court to Punjab & Haryana High Court

  16. Justice Duppala Venkata Ramana (Additional Judge) from Andhra Pradesh High Court to Madhya Pradesh High Court
