Lawyers have the right to present their case forcefully in front of the court. Defamation cannot be claimed against him for speaking in court. He said that we also have to see that no action is taken against any lawyer for the things spoken during the trial".

The Delhi High Court said that if we start examining the statements of the lawyers during such hearings, the judiciary will go down. A fear will inculcate within the lawyers that if they say something, there may be a claim against them. In such a situation, he would hesitate to even speak his mind. Then there will be no cross-examination in the court.
