SC to Rule Tomorrow on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's Bail Plea in Liquor Policy Case

On Friday, the Supreme Court will deliver its decision on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's plea for bail and his challenge to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrest in connection with the liquor policy case.

The ruling will be issued by a bench led by Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan.

Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was initially detained by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 for his alleged involvement in a money laundering case related to the liquor policy scandal. He was subsequently arrested by the CBI on June 26 on corruption charges.

Despite the Supreme Court granting him bail on July 12, Kejriwal remains incarcerated in Tihar Jail due to the CBI's ongoing case against him.
