Today, the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) announced that it will provide access to computers in the Supreme Court Complex Library to facilitate virtual hearings for its members.
In the circular, the SCBA mentioned that 16 computers have been made available for members to use for virtual hearings. Members were requested to use the computers exclusively for attending their virtual hearings and to ensure that the equipment is made available for other members once their hearing concludes.
Yesterday, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna remarked that lawyers would have the option to appear online due to concerns over the worsening air quality in Delhi.
Additionally, the notice informed that both the library and gym in Block D of the Supreme Court Building Complex are now operational for the convenience of the members.
