Recently, the Supreme Court Collegium announced its recommendation to appoint three Additional Judges of the Delhi High Court as Permanent Judges of the same Court.

The following Judges have been recommended to be made permanent:

• Justice Girish Kathpalia,

• Justice Manoj Jain, and

• Justice Dharmesh Sharma.

The Collegium resolution, dated March 12, 2024, states that the High Court of Delhi unanimously recommended the Additional Judges listed above for appointment as permanent Judges of the same High Court.

"In terms of the Memorandum of Procedure, the Judges of the Supreme Court conversant with the affairs of the High Court of Delhi have been consulted with a view to ascertain the suitability of the abovenamed Additional Judges for being appointed as permanent Judges", it added.
