RHCBA urges special holiday for Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration on January 22, 2024

In a heartfelt appeal to the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, the President of the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association (RHCBA), Jaipur, has urged for a special holiday on the momentous occasion of the consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, 2024.

The significance of this event, known as the Ram Lala Pran Pratistahn programme, has resonated not only within the borders of India but has also captured the attention of the world. The President pointed out that several Chief Ministers across the nation have already declared a holiday on this day, recognizing the historical and cultural importance of the consecration ceremony of the eagerly awaited new idol of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

Highlighting the widespread enthusiasm and anticipation surrounding the event, the President mentioned that numerous events and celebrations are planned across India, with the global community keenly observing the proceedings. It is indeed a momentous occasion that symbolizes unity, faith, and the cultural heritage of the nation.

Acknowledging the proactive stance taken by both the State Government and several foreign governments, which have declared a special holiday on January 22, 2024, the President appealed for a similar gesture from the Rajasthan High Court. This, he suggested, would allow advocates to actively participate in the Ram Lala Murti Isthapna Program and join in the nationwide celebrations with their families.
