Justice DY Chandrachud, the Senior most Judge of the Supreme Court today observed that recording of the court proceedings even in the courtroom by a mobile phone is alright since it is an open court but it should exclude the talks which the judges are having among themselves. 

It is to be noted that Justice Chandrachud has been strongly advocating the use of Technology and Virtual courts. Justice Lalit is also heading the Committee of the Supreme Court which is responsible for the adaptation of Technology called "-committee.

During the course of the argument, Justice Chandrachud also advocated using SCC online for reference of the case laws and said that the soft copies of the books save paper. Justice Hima Kohli was the other member of the bench who also supported the same.
