Bhajan Lal Sharma Government has started functioning in war footing mode so far as the appointment of Government Advocates is concerned. Last evening through four different notifications 8 new Additional Advocate Generals and 81 Government Counsel, Additional Government Counsels, Deputy Govt. Counsels have been appointed for the High Court.

The issue has been pending for more than 6 months. The Rajasthan High Court had also scolded the Government for the appointments of government advocates but the Government was delaying it because of the Parliament Election.

Three (3) AAG for the Jaipur Bench of the High Court and Five (5) AAG for the Principal Bench at Jodhpur have been appointed.
