Madhya Pradesh HC Elevates 27 Lawyers, Including 2 Women, to Senior Advocate Status

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has conferred the designation of Senior Advocate upon 27 lawyers, including two women.

The lawyers who have been conferred the gown are:

  • Jitendra Kumar Sharma

  • Manoj Munshi

  • Mohammed Ali

  • Narinderpal Singh Ruprah

  • Prahlad Choudhary

  • Prakash Upadhyay

  • Pushpendra Yadav

  • Radhe Lal Gupta

  • Rajnish Kumar Sanghi

  • Rameshwar P Singh Thakur

  • Shashank Verma

  • Shekhar Sharma

  • Siddharth Gulatee

  • Sudha Shrivastava

  • Sunil Gupta

  • Udayan Tiwari

  • Virendra Sharma

  • Vishal Baheti

Out of 48 lawyers who applied for the Senior Advocate designation, the High Court's Permanent Committee shortlisted and recommended 27 names.

The shortlisted names were subsequently presented to the full court of the High Court, which approved all 27 recommendations. 

The last time the High Court designated Senior Advocates was in 2022, conferring the gown on 15 lawyers.
