Kerala HC Welcomes Six New Judges Sworn into Office

Six new judges were sworn into office as Kerala High Court judges on Friday.

Chief Justice AJ Desai Swears In Six New Judges Elevated Directly from the Bar at Kerala High Court

The new judges, in order of seniority, are:

  • Mullappally Abdul Aziz Abdul Hakhim;

  • Syam Kumar Vadakke Mudavakkat;

  • Harisankar Vijayan Menon;

  • Manu Sreedharan Nair;

  • Easwaran Subramani; and

  • Manoj Pulamby Madhavan.

The newly appointed judges will serve a two-year term starting today, after which their appointment as permanent judges of the High Court will be determined.
 
High Court Vacancies Reduced to Six as Six New Judges Appointed, Filling a Majority of 12 Vacancies. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the elevation of all six of the new appointees on March 12. Subsequently, on March 21, the Central Government notified their appointment.
