The Kerala High Court has released a notification inviting applications from qualified advocates seeking designation as Senior Advocates. According to the notification, Senior Advocates are also permitted to recommend candidates for this designation.

According to the notification dated July 18, 2024, applications must be submitted on or before August 12, 2024, by 4:30 PM. Applications or recommendations received after this deadline will not be considered.

Applications must be submitted according to the format specified in the High Court of Kerala (Designation of Senior Advocates) Rules, 2018. Applicants are required to submit only one set of the application initially, with the remaining nine copies to be provided later if needed.

Additionally, a soft copy of the application in editable PDF format must be emailed. The notification includes an annex with the format for the Application-Cum-Consent letter for designation as Senior Advocate.
