Justice Srivastav takes oath as Chief justice of Rajasthan High Court

Justice MM Srivastav took oath today as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court. Governor of Rajasthan Sh. Kalraj Mishr administered the oath to the newly appointed Chief Justice. He is the 42nd Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.

before this Justice Srivastav remained Acting Chief Justice for 4 times. He was working as Judge of the Rajasthan High Court. He was elevated as the judge of Chhatisgarh High Court.

Justice Shrivastava was born on 6th March, 1964 at Bilaspur. He did his schooling at Bilaspur, graduation (B.Sc.) from CMD College, Bilaspur and LL.B. with gold medal from K R Law College, Bilaspur. He was member of Board of Studies and Academic Council, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. He was enrolled with the Bar Council of M.P., Jabalpur, on 05-10-1987 and practiced at District Court, Raigarh, High Court of Madhya Pradesh and High Court of Chhattisgarh. He was Standing Counsel for Department of Income-tax, Muncipal Council, Raipur and Chhattisgarh State Electricity Organisations, Corporations etc. and is associated with Rotary International. He was designated as Senior Advocate on 31-01-2005 and elevated as Judge of Chhattisgarh High Court on 10-12-2009. He was then transferred to Rajasthan High Court and took oath on 18.10.2021.
