Annoyed by an act of the Supreme Court registry, Justice JK Maheshwari made strong oral remarks in court when a hearing was going on in court 10 today and the advocate referred to a previous order of the court and the same was not found in the file of the judges.

Justice Maheshwari said "What is this going on? Why the orders are not placed in the file? ask that the registry official to remain present before the court. We have witnessed that such practice is taking place in other files also that orders are not placed in the court file. This is very serious. I won't hesitate to take strict action against the erring officer. I won't hesitate to initiate a judicial enquiry into the issue."

There is a practice in the Supreme Court to place all the previous orders in the file which is placed before the judges. Justice JK Maheshwari was sitting with Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia.
