Delhi Govt Enforces E-Filing Rules for Delhi HC 2021: March 14 Notification

On March 14, the E-Filing Rules of the High Court of Delhi 2021 were officially notified by the Delhi government.

Delhi Government Issues Gazette Order, Mandates E-Filing Rules for High Court of Delhi 2021

"In exercise of the powers conferred under the “e-Filing Rules of the High Court of Delhi 2021” and in continuation of Delhi High Court’s earlier Notification No. 12/Rules/DHC dated 22.02.2022, the High Court of Delhi hereby notifies that with effect from 01.04.2024 the “e-Filing Rules of the High Court of Delhi, 2021” shall also apply to all cases of Civil Jurisdiction (including Family Court cases) as well as all Criminal Complaint cases in all the District Courts in Delhi."

The regulations are designed to oversee the electronic submission procedures, encompassing both online e-filing and filing at designated counters, along with the services offered through e-Sewa Kendras. These amendments aim to streamline and unify existing rules and practice directions, establishing a thorough framework for electronic filing processes.
