On Nripendra Pandey filed a complaint against former congress president and leader Rahul Gandhi for making alleged remarks against Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in Maharastra during Bharat Jodo Yatra recently.

The Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate AK Srivastava directed the complainant to produce evidence under section 200 CRPC. The ACJM would decide if cognizance should be taken on the complaint and Rahul Gandhi should be summoned after his evidence under section 200 CRPC and the evidence of witnesses u/s 202 CRPC.

The complainant has filed this complaint u/s 156(3) CRPC seeking registration of First Information Report against Rahul Gandhi but the Magistrate Court refused to direct the police to register the FIR and investigate the matter and it was registered as a complaint.

The Complaint has been filed in Lucknow Court. The Magistrate Court has fixed the date of hearing in the matter for 09th January 2023.
