The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of four judicial officers, including two women, as judges of the Telangana High Court.

The Collegium reached this decision during its meeting held on January 11.

The recommended candidates are:

• Renuka Yara
• Narsing Rao Nandikonda
• Tirumala Devi Eada (also known as Thirupathamma K)
• Madhusudhan Rao Bobbili Ramaiah

The Telangana High Court, with a sanctioned strength of 42 judges, is presently functioning with only 27 judges, leaving 15 positions vacant.
