Center appoints four judges in three High Courts: notification released

The Ministry of Law and Justice in India has announced the appointment of four judges to three High Courts in the country. Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Minister of Central Law and Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, and Culture (Independent Charge), shared this significant development via a tweet.

In the Kerala High Court, Justice C.S. Sudha has been appointed as a new judge, bringing her extensive legal expertise to the court's proceedings. This appointment aims to strengthen the judicial bench in Kerala.

Turning to the Odisha High Court, the government has appointed two distinguished individuals to serve as judges. Mr. Sibo Shankar Mishra, a prominent advocate, and Mr. Anand Chandra, an experienced judicial officer, will contribute their legal acumen to the court's proceedings. Their appointments are expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Odisha High Court.

In the Gauhati High Court, Mr. Budi Habung, a seasoned judicial officer, has been appointed as a judge. His extensive experience in the legal field will play a crucial role in ensuring fair and just outcomes in the cases brought before the court.
