In Jaipur, the government's bulldozer will target the farmhouse of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's family as part of an encroachment removal initiative. The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) plans to reclaim one thousand square yards of encroached land from Dhankhar's farmhouse located on New Sanganer Road. This illegal construction has been present for many years.
Following a notice from the JDA, the Vice President's brother began removing the illegal structure within the road boundary.
JDA Issued Notice 5 Days Ago
The JDA issued a notice to over 600 illegal constructions on New Sanganer Road, demanding their removal within 5 days. For those who failed to comply, the JDA began taking action on June 26, which will continue until July 3. On the first day, 150 illegal structures were demolished. The JDA aims to remove more than 600 illegal constructions from the road boundary along a 6.5 km stretch.

Vice President's Brother Acts Before JDA Team Arrives
Kuldeep Dhankhar, the younger brother of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, owns a farmhouse on New Sanganer Road near Rajat Path. A portion of the farmhouse extended into the road boundary. On Wednesday, the JDA team arrived to remove the illegal construction, but Kuldeep Dhankhar had already begun dismantling the encroachment. The Vice President's family has also initiated the removal of illegal structures.
Longstanding Encroachment to be Cleared
The Vice President's wife has owned the farmhouse for over 30 years. The front portion, approximately 1000 square yards, encroaches into the road boundary. The JDA team is set to clear the illegal construction within the next 48 hours.
JDA's Ongoing Encroachment Removal Efforts
JDA Chief Controller Mahendra Kumar Sharma stated that the Jaipur Development Authority is consistently acting against illegal constructions. In this ongoing effort, illegal structures on New Sanganer Road will be removed. The encroachers were given a 5-day notice to voluntarily remove their constructions. For those who failed to do so, the JDA will now proceed with bulldozers to clear the encroachments.
