Yesterday, the Bar Council of India (BCI) released the results for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XVIII (18) on the official website allindiabarexamination.com. Candidates can view their results by logging in with the User ID and Password provided during their registration for AIBE-XVIII.
In a notification released yesterday, the BCI announced that, due to the withdrawal of 7 questions, the result is now based on 93 questions instead of the original 100. Additionally, it was specified that for the General/OBC category, the passing score is determined as 45% of the total 93 marks, rounded up to 42 marks. For the SC/ST/disabled category, the passing score is calculated as 40% of the total 93 marks, rounded off to 37 marks.
Additionally, the BCI has disclosed that it has withheld the results of candidates who uploaded documents other than their enrollment certificates. These individuals are instructed to submit their enrollment certificates to the email address bci.helpdesk@smartexams.in before April 10, 2024.
The BCI conducted AIBE-18 on Deceamber 10, 2023. Following this, the provisional answer key was released on December 13, allowing candidates to raise objections until December 20, 2023. Subsequently, the final answer key for AIBE-18 was officially issued on March 21, 2024.
