In the murder case of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf, charges could not be framed against the three accused.

The Cousel for the murder suspects, Lavlesh Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Arun Maurya, engaged in arguments.

The three shooters had appeared via video conferencing from prison. Due to the incomplete proceedings in the Mafia Brothers murder case, the court has scheduled the next hearing for September 1st.

In the previous hearing, the court had ordered the lawyers to be available until August 16th, considering the shooters' request.

Present in court on behalf of the prosecution was DGC Criminal Gulab Chandra Agrahri.

Earlier, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) filed charges against the three shooters, Lavlesh Tiwari, Sunny Singh, and Arun Maurya.  Based on the SIT's chargesheet, the court will determine the allegations. Currently, all three shooters are incarcerated in Pratapgarh District Jail.

The murder of the Mafia Brothers took place on April 15th, with the shooters surrendering themselves after the incident.

At the time when Atiq and Ashraf were being taken to Calvin Hospital in Prayagraj, they were attacked by assailants disguised as journalists. The assailants had unleashed a brutal firing upon Atiq and Ashraf. The murder of Atiq and Ashraf while in police custody raised serious questions about law and order in Uttar Pradesh.

In the chargesheet filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), the assailants are described as "aggressive." The attackers have also been linked to criminal gangs such as the Gogi and Sundar Bhati groups in western Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
