Allahabad High Court Transfers Over 950 Judicial Officers Across District Courts

The Allahabad High Court has recently undergone a significant restructuring, relocating over 950 judicial officers across various district courts in its annual transfer process. Among these transfers are 17 officers at the District Judge level, along with Judges Khafifa, Civil Judges, Additional Civil Judges (Senior Division), Chief Judicial Magistrates, 273 officers at the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate level, Civil Judges, Additional Civil Judges (Junior Division), and 171 officers at the Judicial Magistrate level. This round of transfers follows the recent relocation of 322 Additional District Judges just ten days prior, resulting in changes to the jurisdiction of a total of 474 judicial officers.

As per the notification issued by the Registrar General, one of the transferred Higher Judicial Service (HJS) officers, Ram Pyare, who previously served as the Presiding Officer of the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal in Mirzapur, has been appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Commercial Court in Gorakhpur.

Principal Family Judge Badaun Satyaprakash was made the Presiding Officer of Motor Accident Claim Tribunal Mirzapur, Uday Pratap Singh, Presiding Officer of Commercial Court, Gautam Buddha Nagar, was made the Presiding Officer of LARRA Jhansi and the Presiding Officer here, Amber Rawat, was made the Presiding Officer of Motor Accident Claim Tribunal Saharanpur. 

Sunit Chandra (Sonu), who served as an Additional District Judge (ADJ) in Badaun, has been appointed as the presiding officer of the Commercial Court in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Rahul Kumar Katyayan, the Presiding Officer of the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal in Ghazipur, has been reassigned as the Principal Family Judge in Ayodhya. Sanjay Kumar III, previously presiding over the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in Saharanpur, now holds the position of Principal Family Judge in Bahraich. Sanjay Kumar II, who was the Presiding Officer of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in Deoria, has been appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in Moradabad. Satyadev Gupta, the former Presiding Officer of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in Ayodhya, has been designated as the Principal Family Judge in Barabanki.

Principal Family Judge Bahraich Sheshamani has been appointed as Presiding Officer of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Ayodhya, Principal Family Judge Lalitpur Mahesh Nautiyal has been appointed as Presiding Officer of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Ghazipur, ADJ Muzaffarnagar Rajneesh Kumar Pratham has been appointed as Presiding Officer of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Auraiya, Presiding Officer of LARRA Gorakhpur. Officer Mitter Pal Singh has a new appointment as Principal Family Judge Badaun.

According to another notification, 322 ADJs transferred on April 5 have been assigned jurisdiction in the transferred District Court and in this process, the jurisdiction of 474 officers of this post has been changed.
